BIM Methodology
In the development of projects and monitoring of works, we apply BIM methodology, which involves the capturing, modeling in 3D, identifying, organizing, managing, verifying, and transmitting information among all the project stakeholders in a logical manner.
There must be a person responsible for the installation field and a person responsible for the quality assurance of the model.
The different architecture, structure and installation models will be linked in the coordination model, in this way the critical points of the building can be identified and resolved.
This will address the coordination between the models. Both a visual and a clash detection check will be conducted.
Objectives:
- Visualize the solution to facilitate the interpretation and communication of the project: for the understanding of the solution by the manager and the end client, and its communication to future users.
- Ensure coordination between disciplines in the construction process: ensuring compatibility between solutions from different disciplines from the initial stages of the project.
- Facilitate the traceability of the project progress: assessing the evolution of the solution based on reliable high-quality information, recording the decision making process.
- Control budget estimates throughout the process: efficient and fast checking of project unit quantities and, in change management, comparing them with those of the work.
- Facilitate the management of the completed building/infrastructure: ensuring the delivery of accurate and reliable information, appropriate to the needs of the maintenance phase.
